Teenager arrested over schools bomb hoax
A teenager was arrested yesterday by officers from the National Crime Agency in connection with a bomb hoax threat that affected hundreds of UK schools this week.
A 19-year-old man was detained in Watford, Herts, on suspicion of blackmail and making malicious communications.
More than 400 schools were affected and many sent messages to parents asking them to pick their children up on Monday morning after receiving an email which claimed a student had been sent in with a bomb which would blow up within hours.
