Blast from repast
Viscountess Weymouth is putting change on the menu at Longleat House after discovering a cache of 18th century recipes and details of fruit and vegetables grown on the Wiltshire estate. Lady Weymouth is opening a new shop, Emma’s Kitchen, whose products have been made or curated by her. Her passion for food and love of cooking provided the inspiration for the venture. She said: ‘I wanted a role. I wanted to be productive. Everything in the shop is inspired by the archive.’
