Viagra to go on sale over the counter
Viagra will be made available over the counter for the first time in Britain as its manufacturer tries to halt a decline in sales. The US drug giant Pfizer hopes its over-the-counter product, Viagra Connect, will help make up for flagging sales of prescription Viagra in the face of competition from rivals. The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency approved over-thecounter Viagra last November. Pfizer’s product will be available in 14,000 stores and on pharmacy websites. Business, Page 1
