Passports ‘should be made in Britain’

New passports should be made by a British firm, even if they cost more, Sir Keir Starmer has said.

The shadow Brexit secretary told yesterday how it would be “wrong” to award the £490million contract to a Francodutch company. Former minister Priti Patel described the move as “a national humiliation”.
