What to watch
The Real Full Monty: Live ITV, 9.00PM
Following on from last year’s surprise hit (who could possibly have guessed that eight male celebrities, on a sliding scale of hunkness from Mcfly’s Harry Judd to dance veteran Wayne Sleep, would raise temperatures so high simply by stripping to their unmentionables and doing a little dance?), seven more famous faces take to the stage in support of cancer charities. Once again, a representative range of physical specimens – from the pumped and toned to the distinctly saggy – will be taking part in a live performance from Sheffield (home of the 1997 film).
Led by choreographer Banjo and host Alexander Armstrong, Towie star James Argent, presenter and reality star Jeff Brazier, football pundit John Hartson, chef Ainsley Harriott, former rugby player Ugo Monye, The Wanted singer Tom Parker and actor John Partridge have all signed up to share their personal experiences and bare all to raise awareness of cancer in men. Doubtless there will be one or two surprise guests as well, while tomorrow night The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night sees eight female celebrities repeat the process, albeit with more fans and glitter, in the name of breast cancer.
