Brexit bonfire night

-

SIR – Philip Johnston (Comment, March 28) asks for suggestions to mark Brexit Day, March 29 next year.

We could light bonfires on every beacon around the nation, ready with effigies of Messrs Barnier, Tusk and Juncker to throw on the fire with effigies of John Major and Tony Blair in reserve. I could see this becoming an annual celebration. Ian France

Penrith, Cumbria

SIR – Brexiteers should hold street parties, inviting Remainers. Tables should be decorated with olive branches, if available, and any gloating should be strictly forbidden. Fiona Wild

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
