Mother dies after being hit by bricks from crane

A newly engaged mother has died after she was hit by bricks that fell from a building site crane.

Michaela Boor, 29, is understood to have been struck moments after dropping her child off at school.

Onlookers found her unconscious in the Mile End area of London surrounded by rubble on Tuesday morning. She was walking next to a construction site for a new housing development.

Miss Boor reportedly became engaged less than a fortnight ago to Andy Murgatroyd, her partner.
