Labour chaos Confusion over withdrawal deal vote

Labour’s policy over Brexit descended into chaos over support for the final withdrawal deal.

Emily Thornberry, the shadow foreign secretary, said that Labour would “probably” vote in favour of the deal, but John Mcdonnell, the shadow chancellor, said his colleague was being “sarcastic” and insisted Labour would only back the deal if it met six tests outlined by Sir Keir Starmer.
