Gearing up for the season of noisy Sundays

sir – I echo the thoughts of Steve Cartridge (Letters, March 27), who knows that spring has arrived when motorbikes start “screaming up and down our valley”.

I pray for rain on Sundays from now until October, to help reduce the number of bikes speeding through the Llanberis Pass.
