His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Hon Malcolm Turnbull, MP (Prime Minister of the Commonweal­th of Australia), at the Athletes Village.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Commonweal­th House, Broadbeach.

His Royal Highness later received the Hon William Shorten, MP (Leader of the Opposition), at the Sheraton Grand Mirage, Gold Coast.

The Prince of Wales subsequent­ly received Her Excellency the Rt Hon Dame Patricia Reddy (Governor-general of New Zealand).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended XXI Commonweal­th Games on the Gold Coast.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon held a Meeting with

Masterchef Australia at Government House, Brisbane.

The Duke of York, Vice Admiral, this morning opened the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility at Mina Salman, Juffair, and was received by The Crown Prince of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Services Sound and Vision Corporatio­n, afterwards toured the welfare facility at the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility and attended a Reception for British and Bahraini businesses.

The Duke of York this afternoon called upon Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa (Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain) at the Diwan Fort.
