Zuma corruption case is adjourned

Jacob Zuma, the former South African president, sat in the dock of a courtroom yesterday to finally face corruption charges.

Mr Zuma, 75, is charged with 16 counts of fraud, racketeeri­ng and money laundering over an arms deal in the Nineties. He was freed “on warning” by the judge, and the case was adjourned until June 8.
