Zuma corruption case is adjourned

Jacob Zuma, the former South African president, sat in the dock of a courtroom yesterday to finally face corruption charges.

Mr Zuma, 75, is charged with 16 counts of fraud, racketeering and money laundering over an arms deal in the Nineties. He was freed “on warning” by the judge, and the case was adjourned until June 8.
