Uber grows UK board with two non-exec hires

Ride-hailing company Uber has bulked up its UK board by adding two new non-executive directors, citing their experience in “transportation, working constructively with cities”. The two new hires are Susan Hooper and Roger Parry. Ms Hooper previously served as chief executive of Acromas Group’s travel division and currently serves on the boards of Wizz Air and Rank Group. Mr Parry, meanwhile, is currently chairman of Yougov, as well as software group Oxford Metrics.
