SIR – The Derbyshire Constabulary Male Voice Choir need not fall foul of the force’s gender equality drive (Letters, April 7). The solution is to rename themselves the Derbyshire Constabulary Bass Voice Choir. Then anyone of any gender with a suitable voice is eligible to join. Edwin Prescott
