 For the latest step on Jacob Rees-mogg’s journey towards world domination, he picks up the headphones and this morning begins a fortnightly radio slot taking listeners’ calls during a half-hour phone-in on Nick Ferrari’s breakfast show. The new regular feature builds on Rees-mogg’s previous entertaining and sometimes provocative radio appearances, of which he has said that “the good sense and wisdom of the callers has educated, informed and challenged me while furthering polite political discourse”. He has a marvellous voice for it, too.
