Entente cordiale

Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, and Justin Trudeau shake hands before embracing as Canada’s prime minister arrived in Paris for a two-day visit. It is Mr Trudeau’s first official trip to France and will focus on trade as Canada looks to ease its reliance on the US. Fluent in French, he will deliver a speech to the National Assembly tomorrow.
