Law student dies in London knife attack
A university student who dreamt of becoming a lawyer was stabbed to death yards from his home, leaving friends struggling to understand why he was targeted.
Sami Sidhom, 18, became London’s latest teenage murder victim after he was attacked in Forest Gate, east London, on Monday night by a man who then fled the scene by car with an accomplice.
Friends described him as a “gentle, kind and considerate young man”.
Detectives were trying to establish possible motives for the attack, including the possibility that Mr Sidhom may have been mistaken by the knifeman for someone else.
