Jonathan Pryce, right, and Sir Anthony Hopkins, far right, play Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in a Netflix film about the relationship between the two pontiffs, pictured above. Scenes for The Pope were filmed in Rome earlier this week. The film, which does not yet have a release date, will tell the story of Pope Benedict’s election and his resignation from the papacy.
