Given the proliferation of dramas out there you might have missed Norway’s Occupied, which aired its first series back in 2016. It’s worth checking out, however, as what was already a prescient idea – an energy crisis leads to the election of a Green Party PM and subsequently Russian occupation under the guise of providing “assistance” – has become even more relevant in the current climate. The second series kicks off with former PM Jasper Berg (Henrik Mestad) exiled to Sweden and his former advisor Anita Rygh (Janne Heltberg) installed as PM. SH
