Quit Parliament, say MPS, as masonry falls

MPS are calling for plans to vacate the Houses of Parliament for restoration to be brought forward after lumps of masonry described as “boulder-size” fell from one of the palace’s towers yesterday, the second such incident in weeks. The stone fell on to a path often used by parliamentarians, staff and visitors, including children.
