Jowell first to sign up to cancer database

Dame Tessa Jowell is the first patient in the world to sign up to an international cancer database to help future generations fight the disease. The Labour peer and former culture secretary, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year, volunteered to give her data to the Universal Cancer Databank project.
