Man held after car rams football derby crowd
Ten people were injured at a village football match when a driver ploughed his car into fans and players when a grudge local derby ended 5-0.
Police are investigating the incident at the Cornelly United ground in Bridgend, South Wales.
A 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving his car into the crowd after the match when witnesses said a row started between the teams.
Joe Jones, Cornelly club secretary, said: “It was horrible. There were parents there and there were people rushing over to help.”
