Dream home with sewage station ‘stinks’
A family say their new dream £700,000 home “stinks” after builders installed 11 drains and a sewage pumping station in their garden.
Mark and Rhian Buller bought their house in Frimley, Surrey, when it was under construction, but were dismayed to hear their front lawn would be riddled with manhole covers. A spokesman from Linden Homes, the developer, said: “The smell may be coming from an adjacent development whose on-site sewers are currently being investigated by Thames Water.”
