Britain is set to return to April showers from today after the UK enjoyed some record-beating hot weather last week and over the weekend. This week’s temperatures are due to dip by 50F (10C) in some parts of the country with widespread rain. Last Thursday was the hottest April day for nearly 70 years, peaking at 84F (29.1C) in London.
