Immersive virtual reality (VR) games and devices seemed like something that would only ever be found in the realms of sci-fi even a couple of decades ago, but now virtual reality has become, well, reality. This inquisitive documentary, presented by digital video artist Adham Faramawy, looks at how powerful immersive VR can be. Faramawy engages deeply with philosophical questions about simulation’s darker side, and why it can feel so unnerving, even disturbing - including VR that seeks to emulate the experience of death.
