SIR – The nurse pictured (above left) with Sid James in Carry on Doctor (1967) on yesterday’s Letters page was played by the actress Valerie Van Ost, not June Jago (above right), who played Sister Hoggett. I know because Valerie is a friend of ours and she hasn’t changed a bit after 51 years. Ann Saunders
