Indian guru jailed for raping girl, 16

Asaram Bapu, 77, a highlyregarded Indian spiritual guru with millions of followers worldwide, was yesterday sentenced to life in prison by a court in the western city of Jodhpur for raping a 16-year-old girl in 2013 at one of his ashrams.
