Cannes launches sex abuse helpline

A helpline for women to report sexual harassment at the Cannes Film Festival is to be set up, following four alleged attacks in recent years by Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced movie mogul.

Marlène Schiappa, France’s gender equality minister, said guests would be warned to watch their behaviour when they arrived at the festival, which takes place next month.
