Sorrell’s pay package cut 70pc to £13.9m for 2017

Sir Martin Sorrell saw his pay package slump to £13.9m in 2017, around 70pc less than the £48.1m he received last time, due to changes in the advertising giant’s long-term incentive scheme. Sir Martin resigned from the WPP chief executive post earlier this month amid a probe into an allegation of “financial impropriety”, which he has denied.
