Red-faced driver gets car stuck on golf course

A lost driver took a wrong turn and ended up getting her car stuck on the 11th hole of a golf course.

The female driver had mistaken Lickey Hills golf course, Birmingham, for a country lane while driving home late on Saturday night. After the Ford Ka became stuck, she abandoned it and it was discovered by greenkeepers in the early hours of yesterday.

Before police arrived, the owner returned to the car, having been unaware she had left it on a golf course.
