Mystery of the Lost Paintings

This new series about lost art begins with a look at Graham Sutherland’s 1954 portrait of Winston Churchill. The picture was so loathed by Churchill’s wife Clementine that it was burnt. The Mona Lisa Myth, which investigates the theory that Leonardo painted two versions of the portrait, airs at 10.00pm.
