Driver surprised by ‘432mph’ speeding fine

A Belgian motorist received a letter saying he had been fined for speeding in a Vauxhall Astra at 432mph.

The motorist send the letter back to the Belgian transport authorities, who acknowledged it was a computer glitch. In fact he had been doing 37mph – but that was still over the 31mph limit.

One figure that did accelerate was shares of his Facebook status.
