Plenty of good, kind people left in England
SIR – My faith in human nature has been restored: on Wednesday I met lots of good Samaritans after I punctured a tyre on my car.
A lady and her daughter helped to identify my exact location for the AA. They then came and checked that I wasn’t waiting by myself in the dark.
Two different young men stopped and offered help in a friendly, non intimidating way, and when the AA man arrived he provided an excellent service.
In case we all forget, there are lots of good, kind people in England. Margaret Hopkinson
