Tribunal rejects Addison Lee appeal on workers

Addison Lee has lost its appeal against an employment tribunal ruling last summer which had found its cycle couriers were not independent contractors, as the company had argued, but were workers and so entitled to benefits such as holiday pay. Addison Lee employs around 40 people in these cycle courier positions to deliver smaller items.
