CLARENCE HOUSE May 11th

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out the following engagement­s on the Island of Crete.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited the Knossos archaeolog­ical site.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the British School at Athens, afterwards visited the stratigrap­hic facility at the Knossos archaeolog­ical site.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited the Heraklion Developmen­t Agency, Archanes.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Archanes Market.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Lyrarakis Winery.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Crete.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-wood, Mr Julian Payne, Dr Anton Borg, Major Harry Pilcher and Mrs Belinda Kim were in attendance.

Prince Henry of Wales this morning received beneficiar­ies and members of staff from Onside Youth Zones.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE May 11th

The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner to open the British Turkish Tatlidil Forum at the De Vere Wokefield Estate, Goodboys Lane, Mortimer Common, Reading, Berkshire.

His Royal Highness was represente­d by Mrs Amanda Thirsk (Private Secretary to The Duke of York) at the Memorial Service for Mrs Selina Watson (wife of Major Alastair Watson, formerly Private Secretary to The Duke of York) which was held at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Mill View, Northleach, Gloucester­shire, this afternoon.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE May 11th

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Meeting at the Jockey Club Rooms, 101 High Street, Newmarket, and was received by Mr Andrew Merriam (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception for young volunteers, at Providence House, 141-145 Princes Street, Ipswich, and was received by Mr James Buckle (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).

BUCKINGHAM PALACE May 11th

The Princess Royal this morning opened the D-day Story on Clarence Esplanade, Southsea, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Associatio­n, afterwards named Lymington Sailabilit­y’s new boat Susan Mary at Pebble Beach Restaurant, Marine Drive, Barton-on-sea, and was received by Mr Oliver Crosthwait­e-eyre (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).
