Stephen Hawking Night

BBC Four revisits the life of the late physicist Stephen Hawking through its archives. The evening opens with an episode of The Sky at Night from 2016, in which Hawking discusses how developments enhanced his groundbreaking theories on black holes. The Search for a New Earth rounds things off, with Hawking exploring the possibility of humans living on other planets. In between is another chance to see the 2004 drama Hawking, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and an absorbing Horizon documentary from 2005.
