Teenagers stabbed near Cambridge college
Two teenage boys have been stabbed opposite a Cambridge University college.
Police were called to the junction of Sidney Street and Hobson Street, across the road from Christ’s College, on Sunday evening.
The pair, aged 13 and 16, suffered “serious but not life-threatening” injuries, Cambridgeshire police said. They were both taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
Two 15-year-old boys from Cambridge were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. They remain in custody.
Christ’s College’s alumni include Charles Darwin and John Milton.
