Big Sing homeless

SIR – Each year the Big Sing has been held at the Royal Albert Hall in September, with almost 5,000 people enjoying Christmas carols and hymns for Songs of Praise. We have regularly attended.

Now for some reason it is not there this year. There is no better venue than the Albert Hall for this magnificent programme and there will be many disappointed people. Surely the BBC knows this. So why change a very popular venue? Joan Winstanley
