Mystery of the Lost Paintings

This captivating documentary explains the Japanese influences behind Van Gogh’s sunflower artworks and follows a team of Madrid-based artists and technicians as they attempt to recreate the painting in forensic detail based only on a poor quality 1921 reproduction.
