Not here to judge
Dame Darcey Bussell attends the unveiling of London’s newly refurbished Royal Academy of Arts, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the RA. The retired ballerina, president of the Royal Academy of Dance and a judge on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, saw the results of more than three years of building work at a cost of £56 million. The major transformation has made the Academy bigger, with more art on show, and simpler to navigate. There’s also a new exhibitions gallery so the RA can host three major exhibitions at the same time.
