Guests congregate at Windsor Castle’s Round Tower and enter St George’s Chapel through the South Door before taking their seats

Members of the Royal family arrive at the Galilee Porch and are received by the Dean of Windsor, who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury

Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge are received at the West Door by the Dean of Windsor. All stand as the bridegroom and his best man are conducted to the Bray Chantry Chapel

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall arrive at the Galilee Porch

Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother, arrives at the Galilee Porch and is received by the Dean of Windsor and is conducted to her seat in the quire

11.52

The Queen arrives at the Galilee Porch and is received by the Dean, who presents the Canons of Windsor and the Archbishop of Canterbury

11.59

Ms Markle arrives at the chapel’s West Steps by car with her bridesmaid­s and pageboys

Midday

The service commences. There will be an exchange of vows, before the giving of the rings. The marriage will then be blessed and the national anthem will be sung

1.05pm

A carriage procession through the streets of Windsor commences, lasting 25 minutes

3.30

Guests leave St George’s Hall where the Queen will have hosted a lunchtime reception. Prince Harry and Ms Markle arrive at the party around half an hour later than their guests

7.00

The bride and groom arrive at Frogmore House for the evening reception hosted by the Prince of Wales
