Hero in flight

George ‘Johnny’ Johnson, Britain’s last surviving Dambuster, has flown in a Lancaster bomber again to mark the raid’s 75th anniversary. Mr Johnson, 96, flew over Derwent Valley in Derbyshire, just as he did while training for the 617 Squadron attack in 1943. He called the trip ‘wonderful’.
