Serial killer Nilsen died of stomach aneurysm
Dennis Nilsen, the serial killer, died after complications from a blood clot removal in his stomach, an inquest heard yesterday.
He died in hospital on May 12 after waking and complaining of stomach pains two days before.
After being taken to York District Hospital, Nilsen, 72, who admitted killing and dismembering 15 people, mostly homeless young gay men, in the Seventies and Eighties, was found to have an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
