The King's African Rifles and East African Forces Association

The King's African Rifles and East African Forces Association held its 71st annual dinner last night at the Army and Navy Club. Brig Allan Mallinson was the principal guest, and Brig David Williams presided. Brig Gen Oscar Chapula, Defence Adviser, Zambia, Col Sydney Linyama, Defence Adviser, Malawi, Col Jackson Mwaseba, Defence Adviser, Tanzania, and representatives from a brother organisation, the Royal West African Frontier Force, were also present.

Honourable Artillery Company

Col Bob Stewart, MP, was the principal guest at the 42nd annual dinner of 3 Squadron, Honourable Artillery Company held last night at Armoury House. Major Samuel Hibbs presided and Maj Gen S.F.N. Lalor and Lt Col M.W. Wood, Commanding Officer, were among others present.
