The Plymouth Naval Retired Officers' Association held a Ladies' Luncheon at the Royal Western Yacht Club, Queen Anne’s Battery, Plymouth, yesterday. Cdr Chris Thorpe presided.

The Sandhurst Trust held a reunion dinner at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Saturday for officers of 2 Pl CC 923, serving and retired, to mark the 25th anniversary of their commissioning. Brig Gerald Strickland presided.

43 Fighter Squadron (Fighting Cocks) Association

Air Cdre David Bradshaw, RAF Lightning II Force Commander, was the principal guest at the annual dinner of the 43 Fighter Squadron (Fighting Cocks) Association held on Saturday at the RAF Club. Air Chief Marshal Sir Simon Bryant presided.
