It’s a war zone, isn’t it? Meghan nephew explains why he carried a knife
Meghan Markle’s nephew tried to take a knife into a nightclub because he was worried by Donald Trump’s claim that London was “like a war zone”,
The Sun claims. Tyler Dooley, 25, the son of Thomas Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s halfbrother, was not invited to the wedding, but travelled to London anyway.
On Saturday night, he went to the Bacchus nightclub in Kingston upon Thames, south-west London, with his mother Tracy – Mr Markle’s ex-wife – and his older brother TJ, 26. As their party was being searched upon entering the club, Mr Dooley, a cannabis farmer from Oregon, realised the 4-inch blade would be found and told doormen he had a knife. They then called 999. According to the report, he told another partygoer: “I just brought it because Donald Trump said London was like a war zone ... for protection.”
Mr Dooley fled the scene after other clubbers told him he would be arrested. Police confirmed that they had received a call, but that “there has been no arrest”. A source told the paper: “When some local guys told him he’d get arrested, he ran off.”
