Singer R Kelly faces suit over sex-slave claims

A woman has accused singer R Kelly of subjecting her to sexual slavery and knowingly infecting her with herpes.

Faith Rodgers, 20, from Texas, claims that Kelly, 51, locked her in a van for hours at a time, coerced her into sex and infected her with herpes during their year-long relationship, according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan, New York. She also accuses him of “luring” young girls.

Aides to Kelly declined to comment.
