Splash out on art

A palatial beachfront villa with a Picasso in the swimming pool is to be auctioned off. El Martinete, near Marbella, Spain, was previously owned by Antonio el Bailarin, a Spanish flamenco dancer who was a close friend of the artist. Picasso would regularly visit the home and in 1961, he signed the bottom of the outdoor pool (left). The villa has previously been on the market for £13 million.
