One rule for MPS
SIR – Were John Bercow, the Speaker, employed in any position other than his current one, the allegations made against him would at the very least have resulted in an immediate suspension from his duties pending a full investigation (Letters, May 22).
That such an accusation against an MP appears to have been overlooked – for reasons, in this case, of political expediency – is totally unacceptable. CR Banks
