Petrol bomb trio jailed for killing four children

-

Two men have been handed four life sentences each for murdering four siblings in a petrol bomb attack on their home in Greater Manchester.

Zak Bolland, 23, and David Worrall, 26, were jailed yesterday for last December’s attack in Walkden that killed Demi Pearson, 15, Brandon, eight, Lacie, seven, and Lia, three.

Their brother Kyle, now 17, who had been involved in a “petty” feud with Bolland, and mother Michelle Pearson, 36, escaped the fire but she then collapsed into a six-month coma and only learnt of the deaths last month. She remains seriously ill. Courtney Brierley, 20, Bolland’s girlfriend, was jailed for 21 years for manslaughter.
