A 1931 cartoon map of Al Capone’s prohibition era Chicago – showing details of gang wars, bootlegging, thefts, a lawyer running to spring his client and machine gunners arriving for “postgraduate work”, with gangland killings marked with skull and crossbones symbols – is on sale for £20,000 from Daniel Crouch Rare Books at the London Map Fair.
